1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how NoSnooze handles information when you use the NoSnooze iOS app. NoSnooze is an alarm and wake-up mission app.

By using NoSnooze, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

2. Information NoSnooze Processes

NoSnooze may process the following information to provide app functionality:

• Alarm times, alarm settings, wake-up missions, alarm lock settings, sound choices, and notification settings.
• Wake-up progress, streaks, completed missions, and related local app statistics.
• Camera images or video frames you capture when completing visual missions such as sky photo, grass photo, made bed, object hunt, or push-up verification.
• Subscription information provided by Apple StoreKit, such as whether your NoSnooze Premium subscription is active, expired, in trial, or restored.
• Basic diagnostic information that Apple or the App Store may provide for crash reporting and app reliability.

3. How Information Is Used

NoSnooze uses this information to schedule and manage alarms, send local notifications, verify wake-up missions, save local progress, unlock paid features, restore purchases, display subscription state, provide customer support, and troubleshoot bugs or crashes.

4. Camera and AI Mission Verification

Some NoSnooze missions ask you to use the camera to prove that you are awake and completing the selected task. When you submit a visual mission, NoSnooze may downscale the captured image or a frame from a short recording and send it to OpenRouter's API using a Google Gemini model for mission verification.

The AI service is asked to return a pass or fail result and a short reason. NoSnooze does not use submitted mission images for advertising or tracking. AI verification can be inaccurate and may reject unclear, dark, or unrelated images.

5. Local Storage and Notifications

NoSnooze stores alarm data, app settings, wake-up progress, and streak statistics locally on your device using Apple platform storage. NoSnooze uses Apple local notification services to schedule alarms and wake-up reminders on your device.

NoSnooze does not currently provide a NoSnooze account system for syncing alarm history across devices. Deleting the app or deleting local data in the app removes locally stored NoSnooze data managed by the app.
